    PROFESSIONAL

"Throughout my high school career I held a variety of positions throughout the operations side of the hospitality industry where I developed high level communication skills, an ability to maintain strong interpersonal relationships between customers and employees, and a unique bottom up understanding of the hospitality business model. This past summer I was a front office intern through the Cornell Hospitality Internship Program at the Statler Hotel. My main responsibility was to manage the intercommunication of hotel with the help of HotSOS and Opera software. Over the course of the summer, I routinely engaged in hotel operation committee meetings to analyze actual performance in comparison to past projections. As well as trained new staff in service agent standards, policies, and procedures for quality service. Above all, I was assigned to a team of 12 interns to create a strategic plan for the internship program. We developed a comprehensive plan that embodied strategies for brand management, recruitment, and marketing."

"Outside of my membership to AKPsi. I am member with the Cornell Real Estate Club. Throughout the semester I attend club meetings that span from networking opportunities to educational series covering key real estate concepts. Additionally, I am involved with Vizer Strategy Consulting. Vizer is an intercollegiate nationwide student-run strategy consulting organization that I co-founded with two other Cornell students, one of which is my fellow AKPsi brother, Aditya Rajan. My role within the company is vice president of business development. My responsibilities range from providing leadership and direction to the Executive Board regarding the effective operation of developmental activities to supervising and facilitating the development of external branches across the country."

    PERSONAL

"I think the most important thing to know about me is that I spent my junior year of high school as a rotary youth exchange student living in Tehuacan, Mexico. This experience shaped me as a person and allowed me to grow in ways I never could have foreseen. That experienced sparked my love traveling and learning about new cultures. On another note, In my free time I love traveling to electronic music festivals across the country with my friends and older brother. I am also an avid skier, and really love most activities where I can enjoy nature and be outside."
